Betrayal of the Underdepths part 2
Returning to the underdepths with a full raid saw us progress deeper into this dragons pit!
Dagarn D'Venom was the next in line and didn't seem to be much of a problem at all, he soon fell to our raidforce with a very loud thump.
Balor the Primeval stood blocking the bridge. A quick taunt and he came running to us, so we pushed him into a corner and burned him down quickly. Good job to all on the kills and nice loot to be had.
Recruitment
Whilst still progressing quite soundly, we are still seeking the following to enhance our raids:
High Priority
1 x Coercer
1 x Illusionist
1 x Troubadour
Medium Priority
1 x Fury
Low Priority
1 x Warlock

Skyshrine Invaded - Defence Alert!

Betrayal of the Underdepths
Our first foray into this zone with a 3 group raid took place on Sunday. Unfortunatly our lvl 91 raiders had to sit on the sidelines and watch the loot drop.
Tel’koran Bloodmaw was out first target. Swapping between out two tanks just like Sara Greenheart, the raid burned him down quickly to get some nice loot.
Theldek the Stinger was next in our sights and it didn't pose much of a problem at all. Into the fight some baby scorpions were summoned, which some people didn't notice, and stepped on them squishing them quickly. I expect it needs to lay some new allies for next time we come.

Dracur Prime: Sevalak Awakened Previewed

Recon Mission
With GU63's release came a host of new raid zones and seeing how we're a curious bunch, ever willing to check out new zones our raid force assembled for a new challenge: Dracur Prime: Sevalak Awakened was to be our target.
An imposing scene awaited us as we entered a throng of level 100 Drakota and Drakes, but our forces held their ground. Not to be intimidated we attacked and slowly, but surely we wade a path through the trash as we made our way to the named. Fortunately this was not without reward as Freyjaa discovered a never before seen weapon amongst the corpses.
With the trash removed we exchanged some preliminary blows with the zone bosses, meaning our forces will be better informed for our next sortee there. Should you want to get in on the action, then sign up here.

As our forces advance we still require fresh blood to keep a sustained assault on the infestation within Skyshine. Currently we seek the following raiders:

Skyshrine is Upon Us

18th April 2012 is the scheduled release date for GU63.
This update finally brings us more content with the highlights being:
100 new quests
2 new raids
2 new levels
Prestige Points
More Tradeskills
Drake Mounts
... and a smattering of other goodies, most of which have been discussed here with many thanks to Marq for the test updates and information.
With this in mind we have the following changes to make you all aware of:
Raid Schedule
In the past we would have a raid break for a week or two whilst people levelled and geared themselves up, however this time it will be different. There will be no raid break this time round and we will be scheduling Progress Raids to the new content for all raid nights. This is being done to encourage even the most "grind-o-phobic" of Members to get their Mains to level 92 and thus to get our entire force into the new raid zones, and to see if our forces are ready to attempt and/or take on the new content. Should we not be ready then each raid will be downgraded on a raid-by-raid basis and do a pre-GU63 zone.
* Progress raid(s) into the new zones
* Lv92 a requirement (Mains)
* Should the force not be ready, raids will be downgraded to a pre-GU63 zone
* T9 M1s to remain on the Auction System (for now)

MDP
For those unware the MDP is a way of strengthening our Guild by auctioning off donated Masters for DKP. As the level cap has been raised, the rules have changed. In short:
* T10 Masters (level 91 & 92) only
* Round 1 (Main, mandatory) and Round 2 (alt, optional) auctions return
* Any Round 1 Masters that sell now award 5 DKP rather than 3 DKP (Round 2 remain on 3 DKP)
* DKP bonus for continued successful donations will increase from 3 DKP to 5 DKP
